This was a very complex compositing and grading retouch for Zeiss Lenses shot by Richard Boll.

Series of underwater images retouched for John Alexander.

We designed a top lit feel to add shape to the overall lighting feel as well as balancing the colour to adjust for being underwater.

A personal project shot over lockdown by Igor Emmerich which went on to win at the 14th International Colour Awards, the IPA awards and the Association of Photographers Awards.

Working from home is the new thing, everyone is at it!

No more commuting, finally a place to lay back and stretch your legs, fire an email while doing some lengths, do your Zoom calls without interruptions and hang out with your pet while typing tomorrow's to-do lists.

These set of portraits were shot by Igor Emmerich for a book and campaign for Airbus UK, highlighting the work they do with satellites, the universe and beyond.

They required a mix of compositing different images and colour work to achieve the final results.

Before and after image for a campaign I shot for Diprobase.

This commission for Apart Jewellery involved a range of techniques to address skin texture, clothing adjustments, expression adjustment as well as matching the overall feel and tone.

These images are part of a larger body of work created for ICO Design by Igor Emmerich.

The brief involved giving the collection a coherent, airy and positive feel so that they would all hang together however they were used.

The team at Temple Spa briefed me intially to give the images a frosty, slightly desaturated look whilst keeping a warmth to the images and making the product the hero.

I then supplied a second set of images with the snow overlaid to give them a more festive feel and extra usage options.

This composite image is part of a series by Igor Emmerich called Crackerjacks which was great to collaborate on. Here it was all about creating the right mood and interaction of the elements and the lighting.

The eyes say it all…

I worked closely with Curtis at Pro-File to create a series of composite images for this campaign.

These images, taken for a brain scanner manufacturer, varied a lot in how involved the retouch was for each one.

The product imagery was the most involved, almost completely recreating the room around the product and people, creating depth within the product as well as the glowing light in the centre.

The clinical shots were a mixture of comping in various elements such as the screens as well as removing a lot of cabling to clean up the frame and creating the corporate blue you see in the background.

The lifestyle ones were more straightforward with the main work being creating the blue corporate background in each one.

Would love to have listened to these eye-wateringly expensive headphones rather than just retouching them…

There was a lot of work involved in the images with the large glass windows, removing the doors, replacing the exterior view and subtly bringing some sky in as well as cleaning and polishing the glass balconies!

The creative team over at Temple Spa wanted to get away from straight product shots and came up with this concept for the autumn catalogue.

I worked on enhancing and further shaping the light from the original captures.

Some highlights here from a bridal catalogue shoot I collaborated on with Pro-File.

Igor Emmerich and I worked on this set of images he shot on the Kent coast. He wanted to give them a feel and colour treatment which would lift them up from the natural by enhancing and adding in colours already found within the images.

I also introduced a subtle backlighting throughout the set to help unite them as a series.

A light retouch required just to complement Simon Urwin’s rich and atmospheric portrait of a young monk at study in Bhutan.

I used the light source in each shot to create a sense of atmosphere throughout this series by Igor Emmerich. They are part of a personal project photographing young boxers training to become the prizefighters of the future.

Can you spot the surfer?!

I shot this cover for both the brochure and the marketing posters for the Unlimited festival at the Southbank Centre.

Unlimited is a festival which celebrates the artistic vision and originality of disabled artists and represents the media of dance, performance, comedy, music and art.

We had a great shoot working with dancers from the award winning group - the House of Krip.

This is a small selection of a much broader set of images shot by Igor Emmerich for Konica Minolta which we collaborated on to produce a cohesive brand identity for them.

I worked with Igor Emmerich on a number of shoots for the drinks giant, shot in various locations around the world.

The brief for Diageo here involved creating a fresh, bright and colourful set of images, shot in Cartagena, Colombia by Igor Emmerich.

I worked with the colours already in each shot, adding to and enhancing the images whilst pulling them all together into a series that work well together.

Working with photographer Tom Fallon to create some beautiful clean imagery for LUX hotels.

The work ranges from a simple clean up and removing unwanted sockets or alarms for example, to adding exterior backgrounds and content such as the hanging lanterns in the last image.

I worked with Curtis at Pro-File to produce this luxurious beauty story.

The second image here was created by retouching the first, group shot image to remove the unwanted products.
